Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

Lead and manage shipyard projects by coordinating site operations, overseeing vendors, ensuring contract compliance, and resolving technical issues to deliver projects on schedule and meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project milestones and track progress against schedules to ensure timely contractual delivery
• Direct and coordinate daily on-site operations and logistics to maintain efficient workflow
• Supervise and manage suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance
• Oversee contract administration including compliance, scope management, and commercial deliverables
• Act as the primary liaison for clients to communicate project status and address requirements
• Lead the project team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly
• Serve as the final decision-maker for all major site operations and personnel management

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a shipyard project manager
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related technical field
• Knowledge of newbuilding ship projects
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Willingness and ability to work full-time in Batam, Indonesia
