We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Site Supervision) to lead the PMC site supervision team for a major aviation project. The role will act as a key representative of the PMC, overseeing the Contractor’s site activities and ensuring that project delivery is aligned with the Client’s objectives, approved design, program, quality, HSE, contractual requirements, and applicable aviation standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the PMC site supervision team across all project disciplines and work fronts.
• Provide overall site leadership and direction for the supervision and construction management functions.
• Act as the primary PMC interface with the Client, Contractor, Designer, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee the Contractor’s execution of works and ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, method statements, program, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, resources, and sequencing against the approved baseline program and key milestones.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical queries, and inspection requests.
• Ensure effective multidisciplinary coordination and management of design and construction interfaces.
• Lead the resolution and close-out of technical issues, NCRs, RFIs, site observations, and outstanding actions.
• Oversee implementation of the project’s quality management and HSE requirements in coordination with the relevant PMC teams.
• Monitor the Contractor’s compliance with aviation-specific requirements, authority regulations, airside operational constraints, and project standards.
• Coordinate supervision activities for airside and landside works, including aviation facilities, aircraft pavements, taxiways, aprons, infrastructure, and associated operational facilities, as applicable.
• Ensure construction activities are planned and executed with appropriate consideration of airport operations, safety, security, and operational interfaces.
• Lead regular site progress, and coordination meetings and ensure timely closure of agreed actions.
• Review the Contractor’s testing, commissioning, integrated testing, operational readiness, and handover activities.
• Oversee completion of snagging, punch lists, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and handover deliverables.
• Identify construction risks, potential delays, and interface issues and coordinate appropriate mitigation and recovery measures.
• Provide regular site progress and management reporting to the PMC Project Director/Client.
• Monitor the Contractor’s performance and escalate significant program, quality, HSE, technical, and contractual issues as required.
• Ensure effective coordination between the site supervision team and the PMC’s design, commercial, planning, quality, HSE, and other technical functions.
• Support the Client in achieving the project’s schedule, quality, safety, operational, and delivery objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience in project management and site supervision. Required at least 5 years of Aviation experience.

• Proven experience working within a PMC, Consultant, or Client representative organization on major aviation projects.
• Demonstrated experience in aviation, airport, or major infrastructure projects, preferably involving complex airside and landside works.
• Strong experience leading multidisciplinary site supervision teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, project controls, quality, HSE, testing and commissioning, and handover.
• Good understanding of aviation standards, airport authority requirements, airside safety, security, and operational interfaces.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating Contractors, Designers, Consultants, authorities, and Client stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, design coordination, and project delivery processes.
• Experience in monitoring programs, progress, risks, interfaces, and Contractor performance.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE 2, or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
