Project Manager (Software Development)

About the Role

RPMGlobal (RPM) is seeking a Project Manager to join our software development team and help drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex software and technology initiatives.

You will work closely with our Software Development Managers, Product Managers and other cross-functional teams to translate priorities into executable plans, manage dependencies and risks, and provide clear visibility into delivery progress.

This role is ideal for an experienced technical project manager who understands software development and can operate effectively across multiple engineering teams, and is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment that combines cloud, edge, AI, geospatial, and industrial technologies.

This is a full-time role, and while it is remote, candidates must be based in Guadalajara.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution for complex engineering projects, end-to-end.
• Facilitate agile planning and execution practices, adapting the process to the needs of each team and project.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple disciplines, including full-stack, Computer Vision, machine learning, mobile, DevOps, and QA.
• Track project health, KPIs, delivery commitments, and key risks, providing clear status reports to stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps, improve workflows.
• Help standardise planning, tracking, release, and reporting practices.
• Support continuous improvement across project management.

About You

• 8+ years professional experience in project management, technical program management, or engineering delivery roles.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and modern engineering delivery practices.
• Experience with development planning and tracking platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar.
• Experience defining and tracking development KPIs, delivery metrics, release plans, and resource allocation.
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and involving multiple teams.
• Strong planning, organisation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Legally entitled to work in Mexico.

Highly Regarded Qualifications and Experience

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience coordinating customer-facing or enterprise integration projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in mining, construction, autonomous systems, or other industrial technology environments.
