Project Manager, Software Implementation
This Project Manager will support a real estate technology project focused on improving efficiency for Lease Administration, Real Estate Finance, and Lease Accounting teams. This role will support both project management and business analysis responsibilities. The right candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to pull out requirements, understand business processes, document pain points, and partner with engineering teams to help shape project scope through user acceptance testing. This person will help keep the project moving forward and allow business leadership to step out of the day-to-day weeds.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, process-minded, and comfortable partnering closely with business teams and technical stakeholders. They should be able to build rapport with customers, advocate for the business, connect the dots across workstreams, and keep project teams aligned on priorities, deliverables, timelines, risks, and decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage software implementation and technical projects using agile, waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to pull out requirements, document business processes, define pain points, and translate needs into clear project scope
- Work with engineering teams to align scope, support delivery planning, and help drive the project through user acceptance testing.
- Drive the business side of the project by keeping stakeholders engaged, informed, and accountable for inputs, decisions, and approvals.
- Support standard project management deliverables, including project plans, status updates, charters, RACI matrices, risk tracking, and mitigation planning.
- Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and decision points, escalating when needed with a clear recommendation and supporting rationale.
- Look for opportunities to improve project management processes and drive greater efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing software implementation or technical projects in an agile, waterfall, or hybrid project environment.
- Knowledge of technology project delivery, including scope definition, requirements gathering, delivery coordination, and user acceptance testing.
- Business analysis experience, including gathering, organizing, and documenting business requirements, use cases, and user stories.
- Ability to understand corporate real estate business flows, business processes, and stakeholder needs.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story and communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
- Strong facilitation skills, including agenda creation, meeting management, follow-up documentation, and accountability tracking.
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
