Structor Group, a construction company in Smyrna, GA, is hiring an on-site Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through closeout — handling scheduling, budgeting, risk management, subcontractor coordination, change orders, and quality and safety oversight.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager is a key member of Structor Group’s construction team, responsible for overseeing and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution while upholding Structor’s mission, vision, and values. The Project Manager will lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management efforts while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Prepare financial forecasts
- Prepare schedules and ensure schedules are adhered to
- Manage RFI process and submittal process
- Prepare job meeting agendas
- Approve pay applications and invoices from subcontractors
- Review pay applications to Owners
- Review drawing changes to determine impact on schedule or job cost
- Approve Owner and subcontractor change requests and change orders
- Provide prompt responses to all team members
- Maintain quality control throughout project
- Determine time of Punch List walk-throughs
- Ensure safety regulations are followed on job site
- Negotiate Subcontractor buyout opportunities
- Bid new projects as assigned
