We’re looking for a Project Manager, Supply Chain – 12 Month Contract to lead impactful medium to large-scale projects across TJX Canada’s supply chain network, helping drive key business objectives and operational excellence. What You’ll Do:

  • Design, optimize, and implement safe, efficient material handling systems that improve the movement, storage, and control of materials across warehouse and distribution facilities.

  • Lead supply chain engineering and automation projects from concept through implementation, developing detailed project plans that define scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Create CAD layouts, drawings, and technical specifications for material handling equipment, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), conveyor systems, robotics, and other automation technologies.

  • Conduct technical evaluations, data analysis, and documentation to support solution design, operational improvements, and informed business decisions.

  • Partner with Distribution Services, Logistics, IT, Loss Prevention, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to implement new technologies and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, implementation, and project closeout activities.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, operational processes, and engineering solutions to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Communicate project progress, risks, issues, milestones, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.

  • Ensure all project solutions and activities comply with company privacy, security, regulatory, and operational standards.

  • Support RFP development, vendor evaluation, selection, and negotiation processes, providing recommendations based on quality, technical capabilities, and total cost of ownership.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, supply chain innovations, warehouse automation technologies, and project management best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, Supply Chain Engineering, or Project Management; leadership experience is an asset.

  • P.Eng. and/or PMP designation preferred.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and engineering design tools, with experience in industrial automation and material handling systems.

  • Experience delivering warehouse and distribution projects, including conveyors, racking, mezzanines, storage solutions, and automated systems.

  • Strong knowledge of applicable safety, building, fire, and electrical codes and regulations.

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma/DMAIC, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including robotics, AI, RPA, and warehouse automation solutions.

  • Proven project management experience, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and project execution.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.
