Our client is an Ahmedabad-based company specialising in smart home and building automation solutions. The company provides advanced technology solutions for lighting control, security systems, building management systems, home theatres, audio-video systems and climate control.

Its focus is on making residential and commercial spaces smarter, safer, more energy-efficient and convenient through integrated automation technology.

Position: Project Manager

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, EC, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.

Location: Ahmedabad (Should be ready to visit PAN India clients as & when it is required)

Experience Range: 4–8 years of relevant experience in Automation, ELV, Security, AV, Electrical Projects, or System Integration.

Office Timing: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm / 10AM to 7PM (Monday to Saturday)

Job Summary: Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage end-to-end execution of Home Automation, ELV, Security, AV, and Smart Building projects, from planning to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from initiation to completion within the planned timeline.

• Coordinate with Design, Sales, Purchase, Production, Installation, Programming, and Accounts teams.

• Manage clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.

• Supervise site installation, wiring, equipment installation, testing, programming, and commissioning.

• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.

• Ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, and resources.

• Conduct regular site visits and monitor project quality and progress.

• Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues.

• Prepare project progress reports, site reports, MOMs, and handover documentation.

• Manage snagging and ensure timely closure of pending work.

• Ensure successful testing, commissioning, client approval, and final project handover.

• Report project progress, risks, delays, and requirements to management.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good knowledge of Home Automation, KNX, ELV, CCTV, Access Control, AV, Networking, and Smart Building Systems.

• Ability to read electrical/ELV drawings and BOQs.

• Strong project planning, team management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and client-handling skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and project documentation.

• Must be willing and ready to visit project sites regularly as required.

• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
