This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Project Manager who enjoys bringing people together, balancing competing priorities, and establishing consistent project management practices. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while supporting the successful implementation of technology solutions that help TeamKids continue to grow.

Your ability to build strong relationships, manage competing demands, and communicate confidently with stakeholders will be essential to your success. You'll bring structure and accountability to project delivery while maintaining the flexibility to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Delivery: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery strategies to ensure projects are well-coordinated and progressing against agreed objectives.
  • Project Governance & Portfolio Management: Establish consistent governance practices, maintain project documentation and decision registers, facilitate steering committees, and provide visibility across the technology project portfolio.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Track project budgets, expenditure, forecasts, and resource utilisation to support effective financial management and delivery planning.
  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and escalating concerns where required.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate internal teams, technology vendors, and external delivery partners to ensure commitments are met and project activities remain aligned with delivery timelines.
  • Testing & Implementation Readiness: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), monitor defect resolution, and support implementation readiness, stakeholder communications, and change activities.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular project and portfolio status reports, communicate progress and delivery forecasts, and facilitate project meetings to maintain transparency and stakeholder confidence.
  • Project Closure & Continuous Improvement: Coordinate project handovers, document lessons learned, confirm delivery against objectives, and support the tracking of post-implementation outcomes and benefits.

About you

You're a proactive and organised individual who takes pride in delivering projects successfully. You thrive on creating structure, solving problems, and keeping multiple moving parts on track. You're comfortable navigating competing priorities, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and bringing clarity to complex situations.

You understand that successful project delivery is about more than timelines and budgets. It's about building relationships, managing expectations, identifying risks early, and bringing people together to achieve shared outcomes. With a strong sense of accountability and a continuous improvement mindset, you're ready to make a meaningful contribution to TeamKids' technology journey.

You will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in technology project management, delivering projects from planning through to implementation and closure.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong project governance, planning, scheduling, and reporting skills, with the ability to provide clear visibility of progress and delivery risks.
  • Experience managing project budgets, expenditure, resource allocation, and delivery forecasts.
  • A proven ability to identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Experience coordinating technology vendors, external delivery partners, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and manage expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to bring structure and consistency to project delivery.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to escalate issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • The ability to coordinate testing, implementation readiness, operational handovers, and project closure activities.
It would be great if you also had:
  • A PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Change management experience, including supporting stakeholder readiness and adoption.
  • Experience managing software delivery and technology implementation projects.
  • Experience within education, childcare, or other service-based organisations.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
The Perks:
  • Competitive Salary: Be rewarded for your expertise and contributions.
  • Hybrid Working Model: Enjoy the flexibility of working from home and the office.
