JOB DESCRIPTION
I. Job Title: Project Manager – Technical
II. Grade: M1(2)
III. Location: Unit 14
IV. Department: Product Development
V. Reporting To: Sr. Project Manager – Technical
VI. Job Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible to ensure a well-trained technical team with the required skill set to ensure a world class product in terms of fit and quality
VII. Key Responsibilities:
· Technical training Development
· Prepare pattern technical development process.
· Grade and develop technical team.
· Train and audit fit process.
· Initiate and maintain full block library
· Process Development
· Map and implement technical process
· Lead factory integration process and implement a regular audit process
· Create and implement a technical manual
· MIS
· Create and maintain a technical manual
· Create and maintain a technical process with 3rd party vendors
· Create and maintain a standardized fit process
· Team Management
· Induction & training of new joinees
· Training & coaching team on regular basis
· Allocating work, assessing performance & giving constructive feedback
Motivating & engaging team productively
VIII. Working Relationships:
· PD Technical Team– To understand specifications of product.
· PD Merchandising – Coordinate for sample development.
· Purchase Team – For material specification & requirements.
IX. Person Profile:
· Education: Graduate / Diploma in Computer aided designing of garment programs or garment technology.
· Experience: 10 - 15 Years in garment manufacturing industry.
· Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills: MS Office, software like Corel Draw, Adobe, Illustrator, Flash and knowledge of patterns, grading, digitizing and measurement chart analysis.
· Behavioral Competencies: Responsiveness, attention to details, interpersonal effectiveness, effective communicator, team work, compliance, flexibility collaboration & teamwork, coaching & mentoring.
