Role Overview
This hybrid role combines the project management responsibilities of coordinating robotic fleet operations with the technical superintendent’s oversight of vessel readiness, crew deployment, and compliance. The Project Manager / Technical Superintendent ensures smooth execution of projects, balancing technical depth, operational planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & project coordination Plan deployment schedules, manage vessel assignments, and oversee project timelines.
ROV operator management Supervise and mentor operators, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Technical oversight Monitor vessel condition, propulsion systems, and robotic equipment performance.
Maintenance planning Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, liaising with shipyards and service providers.
Stakeholder liaison Act as the point of contact for shipowners, port authorities, and clients.
Compliance & safety Ensure adherence to international maritime regulations, MOM requirements, and Neptune’s internal standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, or Logistics.
5+ years of experience in marine operations, technical superintendent roles, or offshore project management.
Strong knowledge of propulsion systems, hull maintenance, and ROV operations.
Familiarity with international shipping regulations and safety standards.
Excellent planning, leadership, and communication skills.
