Introduction & Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee change and release activities within a program aimed at implementing various technology changes specifically in the z/OS mainframe domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the change and release management processes, ensuring effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders involved. This project is anticipated to span approximately two years.
Main Responsibilities
The core duties of the project manager will include:
Change management for business process and technical changes
Managing communication and alignment with both business and technical stakeholders
Coordinating and facilitating changes required by application development teams
Managing change and release management processes in alignment with internal guidelines
Coordinating information sharing and upskilling activities for relevant users
Key Requirements
5+ years of project/program management experience within a large organization
Expertise in change and release management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Knowledge and experience with z/OS mainframe systems
Experience in a highly regulated industry
Experience in facilitating information sharing and related upskilling activities
