Project Manager

Summary

Position: Structural Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to manage RC construction projects from tender stagethrough completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project life cycle, including tendering, planning, execution, monitoring, completion, and handover.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, work programmes, construction schedules, and resource plans.
  • Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site activities.
  • Oversee all RC works, including formwork, reinforcement, concreting, and structural construction.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
  • Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Manage variations, claims, progress reports, and project documentation.
  • Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and Singapore safety and quality standards.
  • Lead testing, inspections, defect rectification, final completion, and project handover.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of construction project management experience, with strong hands-on experience managing reinforced concrete works.
  • Proven experience managing the complete project cycle, from tendering and budgeting to completion and handover.
  • Strong knowledge of RC construction methods, sequencing, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, and site coordination.
  • Good planning, budgeting, cost-control, manpower-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to interpret structural drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction schedules.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Singapore’s construction practices, regulations, safety requirements, and relevant authority procedures is preferred.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver projects within schedule and budget.
