PROJECT MANAGER
Summary
Leads full site management of building construction projects in Dar es Salaam: developing and monitoring project plans, supervising site work, enforcing QA/QC and QHSE standards, and managing budgets in coordination with the Head Office and Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full site management and execution of building construction activities.
- Conduct regular site supervision and ensure adherence to project specifications
and timelines.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust detailed project plans, ensuring timely
delivery and resource optimization.
- Implement and uphold Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) standards throughout
the project lifecycle.
- Enforce strict Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures
on site.
- Prepare and manage budgetary costs, regularly reporting and coordinating with the Head Office to ensure financial
control.
- Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor to verify and monitor cost estimates, material
usage, and progress valuations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
· 7+ years of experience in the construction
industry, specifically in building projects.
· Proven track record in site-based project
management and supervision.
