  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Customer Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.

  • Provide regular project updates and communicate scheduling changes.

  • Set clear expectations regarding project timelines, scope, and completion.

  • Address customer questions, concerns, and issues professionally.

  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the construction process.

Field Operations & Quality Control

  • Conduct job site visits to monitor progress and verify workmanship.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and field supervisors to ensure work meets company standards.

  • Identify and resolve installation issues, material shortages, and unexpected job site conditions.

  • Document project progress, site conditions, and completed work.

  • Ensure projects meet applicable building codes, manufacturer requirements, and quality expectations.

Budget Management & Job Profitability

  • Monitor project budgets, material costs, labor expenses, and overall job profitability.

  • Review material orders, purchase orders, and supplier invoices for accuracy.

  • Identify additional work and ensure change orders are properly documented and approved.

  • Track unexpected costs and communicate potential budget concerns to leadership.

  • Verify final project charges and coordinate accurate, timely invoicing.

Documentation & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate project records, photos, schedules, and updates in AccuLynx.

  • Work closely with sales, production, accounting, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Ensure project documentation and completion paperwork are accurate.

  • Take ownership of project issues and work proactively toward solutions.

  • Help improve operational processes, communication, and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction project management, preferably in roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or exterior remodeling.

  • Strong understanding of residential or commercial construction processes and materials.

  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, crews, and multiple active projects.

  • Knowledge of project budgeting, job costing, change orders, and profitability.

  • Ability to read and understand contracts, estimates, scopes of work, and construction documentation.

  • Strong organizational, scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned projects.

  • Proficiency with computers and project management software; AccuLynx experience is preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Twin Cities.

  • Ability to work in both office and field environments, including outdoor job site visits.

Ideal Candidate

  • Takes initiative and holds themselves accountable.

  • Communicates clearly with customers, crews, and leadership.

  • Can manage multiple projects and priorities without losing attention to detail.

  • Understands how scheduling, material costs, and labor affect project profitability.

  • Handles unexpected challenges calmly and professionally.

  • Takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
