Project Manager

Summary

Oversee large-scale ACMV/M&E construction projects, coordinating teams and stakeholders to deliver on time, within budget, and to specification.

Job Description & Requirements

  1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an ACMV/M&E managing large-scale construction projects, preferably Marina Bay Sands (MBS) projects.
  2. Lead and manage ACMV/M&E construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  3. Assist in project planning, site establishment, and overall site operations.
  4. Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work.
  5. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, government agencies, and utility authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  6. Prepare, monitor, and control project schedules, manpower, resources, procurement, and budgets.
  7. Provide technical expertise in ACMV, HVAC, chillers, ventilation, and related mechanical systems.
  8. Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, technical submissions, RFIs, and transmittals.
  9. Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements, workplace safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  10. Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with all project stakeholders.
  11. Supervise project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and the site workforce to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
  12. Update and manage Variation Orders (VOs), claims, change requests, and contract administration.
  13. Review and verify material requisitions, site measurements, progress claims, and payment certificates.
  14. Resolve technical issues and perform or review HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system coordination.
  15. Ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, machinery, authority approvals, and site readiness before work commencement.
  16. Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, submittal logs, and ISO quality records.
  17. Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives in quality, cost, schedule, and safety.
  18. Utilize project scheduling and document management systems to monitor and report project performance.
  19. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide leadership and technical guidance to the project team.
  20. Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
