Job Summary

Lead critical government system operations and projects by managing AWS/GCC infrastructure, coordinating audits and compliance, and driving digital transformation initiatives. Oversee vendor relationships and ensure uninterrupted service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and vendor management for critical government systems to ensure reliable service delivery
• Plan, execute, and monitor project budgets and service requests to meet organizational goals
• Coordinate audits, compliance checks, and security remediation activities to maintain system integrity
• Manage AWS and Government Cloud Computing (GCC) infrastructure hosting for internet-facing eServices
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of Change Requests
• Ensure business continuity by preventing unplanned downtime outside scheduled maintenance windows
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for successful project execution
• Lead cross-functional project teams and manage stakeholder communications to align objectives and expectations
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and resolve project issues proactively
• Facilitate project meetings, reviews, and governance processes to maintain project discipline
• Prepare comprehensive project status reports and executive dashboards for senior management
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality deliverables to meet defined standards
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and system deployment activities to ensure smooth rollouts
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the government or public sector
• Proven experience managing critical government systems operations
• In-depth knowledge of Government IM8 policies and compliance frameworks
• Experience managing AWS or GCC cloud infrastructure
• Background in managing internet-facing eServices
• Experience supporting government digital transformation initiatives
• Experience integrating authentication gateways such as Active Directory and Singpass/Corppass
• Experience integrating payment gateway solutions including GIRO, PayNow, and others
• PMP, CITPM, or equivalent project management certification
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
