What you’ll do:
As the Warranty & Rehab Project Manager, you will lead and manage all warranty requests and rehabilitation projects from initial intake through successful completion. You are accountable for defining scope, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance, and maintaining clear communication across owner-occupied and non–owner-occupied properties. This role requires regular site visits, close cross-functional collaboration, and direct engagement with homeowners to ensure work is delivered efficiently, safely, and to Habitat’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for warranty requests, bridging communication between homeowners, Warranty Technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Define and manage scopes of work for rehab projects, including budgeting, budgets-to-actuals, and deadline tracking.
- Conduct regular (weekly) site visits to assess progress, quality, safety, and compliance, documenting work through photos and reports.
- Partner closely with Homeowner Services and Construction teams to resolve warranty issues and support existing homeowners.
- Support rehab acquisition and site evaluation efforts by assessing properties, understanding municipal codes, and contributing data for decision-making.
- Supervise and support the Building Maintenance team member responsible for warranty and maintenance-related repairs.
- Manage maintenance and repair requests for Habitat-owned buildings and properties.
- Support funding documentation and reporting requirements related to warranty and rehab work.
- Drive efficiency, accountability, and follow-through across all rehab and warranty activities.
