The Project Manager will play a key role in supporting investment research activities while driving the planning and execution of projects across the business. This role requires a combination of analytical, research, and project management capabilities to support investment decision-making and ensure effective delivery of initiatives within defined timelines and scope. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather insights and produce structured reporting, while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.

  • Project Management
    • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
    • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Mailbox Ownership & Management
    • Monitor response SLAs and proactively escalate overdue actions or unresolved queries to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Standardize mailbox processes, templates, and categorization rules to improve efficiency and consistency.
    • Provide regular reporting on mailbox volume, response times, outstanding actions, and accountability metrics.

  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project status, performance metrics, risks, and issues.
    • Conduct ad hoc analysis and generate reports to support business and investment decisions.
    • Lead and/or support special projects as required.

  • Investment Research & Analysis
    • Conduct structured research across various asset classes to support investment decision-making.
    • Perform basic industry and market analysis to identify trends and key factors impacting investment performance.
    • Support due diligence processes, including data gathering and analysis, to contribute to the development of investment theses.

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, capital markets, or a related discipline

  • Two to three years of project management experience, preferably either at a financial company, consultant, or data provider

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python or SQL is an advantage.
