Project Planner

Summary

Plans and tracks large construction projects using Primavera P6, coordinating schedules, resources, and progress reports to ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain and update integratedproject schedules using Primavera P6 throughout the project lifecycle.

· Prepare baseline programmes, work breakdownstructures (WBS), resource loading and project execution schedules.

· Monitor project progress against approvedbaseline schedules and identify critical path activities, potential delays andschedule risks.

· Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports,dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead schedules and project performance analyses.

· Track engineering, procurement, construction,testing, commissioning and handover activities to ensure timely projectdelivery.

· Coordinate with project managers,engineering, procurement, construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers toobtain accurate progress updates.

· Perform schedule impact analysis, delayanalysis and recovery planning to mitigate project delays.

· Support preparation and assessment ofExtension of Time (EOT) claims, change orders and contractual planningdocumentation.

· Monitor project expenditure, resource utilisation,productivity and earned value performance.

· Identify project risks and recommendmitigation measures to improve schedule performance.

· Participate in project meetings and presentplanning status, milestones, key risks and recovery strategies to managementand clients.

· Ensure compliance with project procedures,contractual requirements and company quality standards.

· Continuously improve planning processes,reporting systems and project controls.

Requirements

· Degree or Diploma in Engineering, ConstructionManagement, Project Management or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant planningand scheduling experience in EPC, process plant or construction projects.

· Proficient in Primavera P6 for projectplanning, scheduling and progress monitoring.

· Good understanding of EPC project lifecycle,construction methodology and commissioning activities.

· Experience in preparing baseline schedules,critical path analysis, resource planning, recovery programmes and presentationto stakeholders.

· Familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM),project controls, cost and schedule reporting.

· Knowledge of contract administration,Extension of Time (EOT) assessment and schedule impact analysis will be anadvantage.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving andorganisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

· Good communication and interpersonal skillswith the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants,subcontractors and internal project teams.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and MicrosoftProject applications
