Project Planning & Controls Engineer

Prepares, monitors, updates, and controls project schedules, progress reports, WBS, planning interfaces, and corrective action plans.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and progress reports.
  • Review contractor planning procedures, WBS, progress measurement methodology, and project schedules.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning progress.
  • Prepare schedule updates, reports, presentations, and recovery plans.
  • Support risk management and corrective action planning.


Requirements

  • BSc in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and PMP Certification are mandatory.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant discipline, preferably oil & gas / petrochemical.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of WBS, progress measurement, scheduling, critical path analysis, and project reporting.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office / MS Project.
