Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project / Process Engineer to support the execution of a pharmaceutical warehouse project. This role requires strong cross-disciplinary coordination capability, hands-on involvement in design and testing, and the ability to independently drive project deliverables within a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support project coordination across multiple disciplines including process, mechanical, electrical, and cleanroom systems.
- Act as a key interface between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Review, coordinate, and support design development for warehouse systems, including sampling booth design and implementation.
- Manage vendor interactions, technical clarifications, and follow-ups, particularly with Chinese-speaking suppliers.
- Plan and support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ) activities, including documentation preparation and execution.
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and applicable regulatory standards throughout all project phases.
- Proactively identify project risks, resolve technical and coordination issues, and drive activities to meet schedule and quality targets.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as technical reports, meeting minutes, and tracking logs.
Requirements
- Experience & Knowledge: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated projects.
- Technical Competencies: Proven experience in project coordination across multiple disciplines in a construction or facility environment; familiarity with cleanroom systems, warehouse operations, or material handling processes; experience with sampling booth design, containment systems, or powder handling is preferred; strong understanding of commissioning and qualification processes (IQ/OQ), with validation exposure advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills; effective communicator across technical and cultural boundaries; proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (required for vendor coordination and technical discussions).
- Adaptability: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and accountable, with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to work independently and drive deliverables with minimal supervision.
