About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Project & Programme Executive to support research and strategic initiatives within a government agency. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in project coordination, programme administration or research support who enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and driving projects from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate multiple research and strategic projects, ensuring project milestones, timelines and deliverables are met.

  • Develop and maintain project tracking tools to monitor project progress and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.

  • Work closely with research teams to review project progress, identify issues and support timely resolution where required.

  • Coordinate research administration processes, including documentation, compliance requirements and collaboration with schools, Institutes of Higher Learning and external research partners.

  • Prepare reports, presentation materials, meeting papers and briefing documents for management and key stakeholders.

  • Support programme budgeting, procurement activities and vendor management while ensuring compliance with government financial procedures.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, researchers, educational institutions and external stakeholders.

  • Support the development and dissemination of research findings through reports, practitioner guides, policy briefs and other communication materials.

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and professional development activities related to research programmes.

  • Provide administrative and operational support for programme planning, monitoring and evaluation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline (Research, Psychology, Sociology, Education or related fields will be advantageous).

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in programme coordination, project management, research administration or related functions.

  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, Python or other data analysis/visualisation tools will be an added advantage.
