Summary

On-site quality control inspector performs inspections, investigates issues, and ensures compliance with standards across project sites in Singapore, requiring frequent travel by motorcycle.

1. Site Inspection & Quality Control

-Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc site inspections as instructed by the superior.

-Ensure all site activities comply with company quality standards, procedures, and project requirements.

-Verify that work is carried out according to approved methods and specifications.

-Ensure all work areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.

2. Site Issue Investigation

-Investigate any quality issues, equipment failures, or operational problems on site.

-Identify the root cause of issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

-Record incident details, findings, and corrective actions taken.

-Monitor recurring issues and recommend improvement measures to prevent repetition.

-Ensure all inspection findings, maintenance activities, and corrective actions are accurately recorded.

-Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper control and release procedures are followed.

3. Housekeeping & Working Conditions

-Ensure all work areas, equipment, and storage locations are kept clean, tidy, and well organised.

-Monitor overall site housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.

-Ensure working conditions comply with company safety and operational standards.

-Report any unsafe conditions immediately to the superior.

4. Site Reports & Documentation

-Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site inspection reports.

-Document inspection findings, maintenance activities, defects, and corrective actions.

-Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for quality control purposes.

-Submit reports to the superior and relevant departments on time.

5. Communication & Coordination

-Liaise with site personnel, subcontractors, and other departments to resolve quality and operational issues.

-Report site findings, equipment conditions, and quality issues to the superior promptly.

-Carry out any other duties assigned by the superior or management.

Job Requirements

-Must own a motorcycle and be willing to travel frequently to various project sites across Singapore.

-Able to travel independently between multiple work sites as required.

-Willing to work outdoors and conduct frequent site inspections.

-Good communication and problem-solving skills.

-Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

-Start working date: At the beginning of August 2026
