WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN:
As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in our New Product Development (NPD) process, acting as the Voice of the Customer from a quality perspective. Working in a global and innovative environment, you will help shape quality standards for new technologies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure successful product launches through robust quality planning and risk management.
YOUR MAIN TASKS:
- Act as a key member of New Product Development (NPD) core teams, ensuring quality requirements, validation plans, and risk management activities are effectively integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead and support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including FMEA moderation, Control Plan development, PPAP preparation, and Safe Launch implementation.
- Perform statistical analyses such as MSA studies and process capability evaluations (Cmk/Cpk) to ensure robust product and process performance.
- Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and drive corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and improve customer satisfaction.
- Support verification and validation activities, including test data analysis, technical reviews, qualification testing, and evaluation of design robustness.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, supporting audits, compliance initiatives, documentation, and company-wide validation programs.
- Collaborate closely with global engineering, program management, manufacturing, and customer teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, product development, or a comparable technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of APQP methodologies and quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, MSA, and capability studies.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), or similar approaches.
- Experience with quality standards and industry requirements, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and AS9100.
- Self-driven and detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage priorities and maintain high standards in dynamic environments.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; additional language skills are an advantage.
