Job Title: Project Sales Executive (Building Materials / Solution)
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including developers, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and design firms.
- Identify and pursue new construction projects, tender opportunities, and government projects.
- Build and expand a strong customer network to generate new business opportunities.
Project Sales
- Promote the Company's building materials, equipment, and technical solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and commercial proposals.
- Conduct commercial negotiations and secure project orders.
Project Coordination
- Manage projects throughout the entire sales cycle, from tendering and contract award to delivery and project completion.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Resolve issues and provide support during project implementation.
Customer Relationship Management
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen long-term business relationships.
- Respond to customer enquiries, coordinate after-sales support, and resolve customer concerns.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling within existing accounts.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Provide market insights and recommend business development strategies.
- Represent the Company at industry exhibitions, seminars, product launches, and networking events.
Sales Performance
- Achieve assigned sales revenue, project, and profitability targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, project progress reports, and management reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Building, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project sales within the building materials, construction equipment, or engineering industry.
- Good understanding of the Singapore construction industry, including project tendering and contract processes.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage project-based sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/CRM systems.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with regular customer visits and occasional business travel.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred but not mandatory).
