Project Site Engineer
Summary
Oversee on-site construction operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and project specs while coordinating contractors and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with consultants to submit and secure approval for materials and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Develop, implement, and monitor site work plans and schedules to achieve project milestones efficiently
- Enforce adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards, to maintain a compliant and secure work environment
- Prepare permit applications and environmental impact statements to facilitate regulatory approvals
- Coordinate inspection activities to verify quality and compliance of site works
- Diagnose and resolve engineering and technical issues promptly to minimize project delays
- Oversee site safety protocols and ensure proper execution of site work procedures to protect personnel and assets
- Monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project timelines and quality standards
- Execute additional duties as assigned to support overall project success
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of construction industry experience demonstrating ability to manage site operations independently
