Project Support Officer

We are seeking a proactive Projects Support Officer to join our team, supporting the day-to-day operations and projects for project managers in our Narre Warren office.

As a Project Support Officer, you will be a high level of administrative support to Business and Service Line teams across the Project Lifecycle, working particularly closely with Project Managers and Business/Service Line leaders to deliver successful projects.

Your main duties will include:

  • Support Project Managers (PM’s) with project costs, budget and margins during the proposal and project stages
  • Support with collations and preparation of tender and bid documents
  • Maintain registers and CRM systems, ensuring go/no-go documentation is recorded correctly
  • Support PM’s with invoice and debtor follow up
  • Plan and schedule project activities
  • Manage all aspects of supplier and subcontractor interactions
  • Reporting, timesheets, QA and compliance, expense claims
  • Provide general administrative support, as required

To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting technical electrical distribution or energy projects. In addition, you will also have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a professional services environment
  • Highly developed organisation and prioritisation skills
  • A courteous, polite, respectful and professional manner
  • Able to work proactively with minimal direction
  • Excellent personal presentation and demeanour
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) are essential
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and solution oriented
  • Enjoy working with others and building effective relationships
