The Opportunity

LHB is looking for an experienced transportation engineer and project leader to help shape the continued growth of our transportation practice.

This is an opportunity to do more than manage projects. You’ll lead meaningful transportation work for communities across Minnesota, build trusted client relationships, mentor and develop talented professionals, and have a voice in where our practice goes next.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary firm with 60 years of experience and a diverse portfolio of public and private work. That breadth gives our people opportunities to collaborate across disciplines, solve complex problems, and contribute to projects that strengthen the communities where we live and work.

If you’ve built a career in transportation and are looking for an opportunity where you can have visible impact on projects, clients, people, and the growth of a practice we’d like to talk.

Why This Work at LHB?

Transportation projects have a direct impact on how people experience their communities. At LHB, you’ll have the opportunity to lead that work while helping shape the relationships, people, and practice behind it.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary firm where transportation intersects with infrastructure, planning, environmental considerations, and community needs and where an experienced project leader can have a meaningful influence on what comes next.

Why LHB?

At LHB, we want talented people to come here, grow here, and thrive here. For 60 years, we’ve built our company around thoughtful, sustainable design, strong relationships, technical excellence, and a commitment to making a difference.

We care about where we live and work. Our commitment to stronger communities extends beyond our projects through nonprofit investments, scholarships, partnerships, and the time and talents of our people.
We want you to thrive—in work and in life. We support flexibility and recognize that careers and lives have seasons. Our goal is an environment where people can do meaningful work, continue growing, and have full lives outside of work.

And when LHB succeeds, our people share in that success through profit-based bonus opportunities and the potential to become an LHB shareholder.
