We are seeking an experienced Property Damage Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate property damage claims while working closely with attorneys, insurance carriers, and clients throughout the claims process.

As our Property Damage Claims Adjuster, you will serve as the firm's subject matter expert on property damage claims, ensuring every case is thoroughly investigated, accurately valued, and strategically negotiated.

You'll collaborate closely with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, repair facilities, and vendors to strengthen claims, maximize recoveries, and provide clients with a seamless experience throughout the property damage process.

What You'll Do

Claim Evaluation & Investigation

  • Conduct comprehensive investigations involving vehicle and property damage claims.
  • Assess causation, scope of damage, liability, and overall financial impact.
  • Review repair estimates, photographs, inspection reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify inconsistencies, undervalued claims, coverage issues, or potential claim disputes.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout the property damage claims process.
  • Collect documentation and guide clients through claim requirements and timelines.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, adjusters, repair facilities, contractors, and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain proactive communication to ensure timely claim progression and client satisfaction.

Damage Assessment & Documentation

  • Prepare accurate damage assessments, repair estimates, and claim summaries.
  • Present findings clearly to attorneys, clients, and insurance representatives.
  • Maintain complete, organized, and compliant documentation of all claim activities.
  • Ensure all case information is accurately maintained within internal systems.

Negotiation & Claim Resolution

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to achieve fair property damage compensation.
  • Advocate for clients by addressing undervalued estimates, disputed damages, and coverage concerns.
  • Track claim progress from initial investigation through final resolution.
  • Escalate complex claims as appropriate while maintaining timely follow-up.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with attorneys, case managers, negotiators, and legal support teams to strengthen case outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise regarding property damage claims, insurance policies, and claim valuation.
  • Support litigation strategy by supplying accurate documentation and professional assessments.
  • Contribute recommendations that improve claim handling processes and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Property Damage Claims Adjuster, Insurance Adjuster, or similar role handling property damage claims.
  • Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, adjusting procedures, liability assessment, and claims workflows.
  • Proven experience evaluating damages, preparing repair estimates, and negotiating insurance settlements.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple claims in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a Personal Injury Law Firm or insurance carrier.
  • Experience handling complex vehicle property damage or total loss claims.
  • Familiarity with Filevine or other legal case management platforms.
  • Experience using estimating software such as Xactimate, CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex.
  • Professional certifications in Claims Adjusting, Insurance, or Property Damage.
