Property Management Financial Analyst
Summary
On-site senior analytics engineer at Integrity Realty Group's Beachwood, OH office who consolidates financial and operational data from the company's apartment communities (Yardi) into one comparable view, automates portfolio-wide expense benchmarking and anomaly flagging using SQL, Python, and AI/LLM tools, and presents cost-saving findings and dashboards to ownership.
On-site position at Corporate Office in Beachwood OH
Local candidates only.
About the Role
We own and manage a portfolio of apartment communities and are looking for a financial analyst to review performance across the entire portfolio — not just one property. You'll compare properties against each other, identify where expenses are running high, and build the reports and analyses that help us catch problems before they become expensive.
We want someone who's genuinely curious about using AI tools to work faster and smarter — building better reports, spotting trends, and automating the parts of the job that are currently manual — not just someone who processes requests as they come in.
What You'll Do
- Review financial statements and expense trends across all properties in the portfolio
- Identify outliers — properties spending more than they should on maintenance, payroll, contract services, etc. — and dig into why
- Build new recurring and ad hoc reports for ownership, driven by your own analysis
- Use AI tools to speed up reporting, analysis, and anomaly-spotting
- Work alongside our utility analyst on cross-checking findings related to usage-driven expenses
What We're Looking For
- Currently working as a financial analyst (or similar) in property management or multifamily real estate
- Strong Excel skills and solid understanding of property-level P&Ls and budgets
- Genuine interest in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for financial analysis and reporting — willingness to learn is fine, you don't need a technical/programming background
- Self-starter who enjoys building new reports and finding problems, not just running the numbers you're handed
- Must be local to NE Ohio and available for in-person interview
