Position Overview

The Assistant Property Manager supports the property manager with the daily operations, tenant relations, and oversees building maintenance for a healthcare real estate portfolio. The role balances day-to-day administrative tasks, financial tracking, and hands-on vendor and maintenance management to ensure the medical facilities operate at a highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve monthly schedule of charges
  • Review, code, batch, and approve all invoices
  • Run monthly budget comparison report and make variance comments
  • Monitor and resolve accounts receivable aging
  • Assist tenants in determining proper payment amounts
  • Manage Certificate of Insurance compliance and tracking
  • Review past tenant concerns regarding building services to assure follow up and satisfaction
  • Monitor building conditions and upkeep, including vacant spaces
  • Assure quick response times for building maintenance and tenant service orders with building engineers and contractors
  • Assist with tenant appreciation events
  • Assist with transition of properties during acquisition and disposition
  • Provide assistance on property capital and tenant improvement projects
  • Manage 3rd party contractors/vendors and rebid service contracts regularly
  • Prepare first draft of annual budget
  • Travel in Southern Arizona will be required

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education required
  • 2+ years of previous property management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to be resourceful and work efficiently and independently
  • High proficiency in Microsoft based software
  • Real Estate License preferred


$58,000 - $70,0000 salary range, based on experience plus benefits and bonus.
