Property Manager, Global National Security Programs

Summary

Oversee hardware property accountability and lifecycle management for AWS’s national security programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while supporting classified environments.

Application deadline: Aug 19, 2026

Are you ready to make a direct impact on national security through the power of cloud and emerging technology? The AWS Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO) is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee hardware property accountability and lifecycle management in support of the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

Based in Colorado, you will join an elite team of program management and technical professionals delivering secure, scalable, and mission-driven technology solutions for our national security customers. You'll serve as the central point of accountability for government-furnished and contractor-acquired hardware assets, ensuring compliance with federal property regulations while enabling mission execution in classified environments.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage the full lifecycle of hardware property assets — including receipt, tagging, inventory, tracking, maintenance, and disposition — across classified and unclassified environments

• Ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1, DFARS 252.245-7000 series, and contract-specific property clauses for all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP)

• Maintain accurate and auditable property management systems and records, ensuring data integrity across all asset categories (servers, networking equipment, storage, end-user devices)

• Coordinate with security, facilities, program teams, and government stakeholders on asset movements, transfers, and disposition actions within secure facilities

• Lead and support property audits, self-assessments, and government surveillance activities — driving corrective actions and continuous improvement

• Develop and maintain the program's Property Management Plan and related documentation (CDRLs, SOPs, property procedures) to ensure consistency and compliance

• Establish and manage property control frameworks, including decision-making processes for excess/surplus determinations, loss reporting (DD Form 200), and disposal actions

• Partner with program execution managers, subcontractors, and the PMO to forecast property needs, track allocations, and support program reviews

• Drive process improvement by evaluating property workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and exploring automation opportunities to streamline asset tracking and reporting
