Property Manager – King Pine Apartments

Schochet is hiring an experienced Property Manager for King Pine Apartments, a 234-unit multifamily community in Orange, MA.

If you have multifamily property management experience and a strong background in Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit housing, resident relations, and team leadership, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Manage the daily operations of a 234-unit apartment community.
  • Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate property-management staff.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, prospective residents, vendors, employees, and the community.
  • Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints.
  • Oversee rent calculations, rent collection, delinquency notices, and legal actions when needed.
  • Manage subsidy collections and related issues.
  • Oversee annual and interim resident recertifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and manage the annual property budget.
  • Complete inspections, monthly reports, and other required property documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all certifications and compliance requirements are completed on time.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of multifamily property management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Section 8 and Tax Credit/LIHTC programs
  • COS designation required
  • ARM designation preferred
  • Previous experience supervising and developing property-management staff
  • Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Yardi experience preferred
