Proposal Manager III

The Proposal Manager III is responsible for leading and managing the full lifecycle of proposal development, from opportunity kickoff through final submission. This role ensures compliance with customers requirements, drives cross-functional collaboration, manages schedules and resources, and delivers high quality, competitive proposals on time. The Proposal Manager III will serve as the central point of contact, balancing strategic inputs to create compelling proposals that align with company objectives.


  • Manage the proposal development process, including planning, organizing, and coordinating efforts across various departments to meet proposal deadlines
  • Liaise with the Sales Team to collect opportunity information and conduct bid/no-bid meetings to allow wider business to determine whether to pursue an opportunity
  • Collaborate with other department groups within the company and third parties to find the best product and service solutions to satisfy customer requirements
  • Determine proposal response strategy with Sales and Product Management
  • Coordinate and lead reviews with Senior Leadership to gain approval to submit the proposal
  • Apply technical and sales knowledge in direct support to customers and internal sales force while maintaining a positive message
  • Clearly and concisely communicate technical and commercial information to senior leadership
  • Analyze past proposals and gather feedback to improve future submissions. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in proposal management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Engineering
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (9) nine years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. OR (3) three years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
