Job Description: Fabricates/repairs artificial limbs and braces (prostheses or orthoses) to provide maximum fit, function, appearance and workmanship.

Experience

  • No previous experience.
  • Two (2) years (3450 hours) training/experience working as a Prosthetics & Orthotics Technician under the supervision of an on-site
  • Certified professional (or registered technician) prior to becoming registered

  • Orthotic/Prosthetic Technician Program

Licenses

  • Registered Technician in Orthotics
  • Registered Technician in Prosthetics
  • Orthotics Prosthetics Canada
