MAP seeks a Protection Case Management Officer to support the effective delivery of protection case management activities, ensuring timely, safe, confidential, and appropriate responses to identified protection cases. The role is responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, referring, and following up on protection cases, maintaining accurate and confidential records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and service providers, and contributing to effective referral mechanisms and case management coordination in line with MAP standards and protection principles.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in protection case management, preferably within humanitarian or protection-focused settings, with a strong understanding of protection principles, case management standards, referral mechanisms, and humanitarian standards. They will have experience working with vulnerable individuals in conflict-affected contexts, familiarity with the Protection Cluster system, and demonstrable experience using Primero or similar protection case management information management systems. A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Law is desirable, alongside a Diploma in Technical Supervision and Team Management or recognised training in Professional Supportive Supervision. The candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple stakeholders, and perform effectively under pressure. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
