Protective Security Agent - Part Time

About the role:

The Protective Security Agent serves as the premier point of contact and primary line of defense for employees, visitors, and executives, delivering an exceptional corporate workplace experience through a precise combination of five-star hospitality and rigorous operational security.
This role requires individuals with high emotional intelligence, calm under pressure, and a strong sense of professional discipline— aligned with backgrounds in corporate security, executive protection, or military service. Responsibilities include executing proactive threat-mitigation protocols, managing visitor registration, supporting cloud-based access control procedures, and coordinating complex security logistics. The Protective Security Agent works in lockstep with corporate Workplace Services and campus security leadership to maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-integrity environment. This position reports directly to the Security Operations Manager.


In this role, your responsibilities will be:

  • The Hospitality Greeting: Greet employees, visitors, international dignitaries, and executives in a highly professional, friendly, and hospitality-focused manner while serving as the primary anchor for the facility.
  • Workplace Platform Execution: Manage visitor registration, badge issuance, credential verification, and facility access control procedures utilizing modern enterprise Visitor Management Systems (VMS) and cloud-based security platforms.
  • Proactive Threat Assessment: Maintain constant, active situational awareness to identify, de-escalate, and resolve security anomalies, suspicious activity, policy infractions, safety hazards, or physical breaches before they escalate.
  • Facility Stewardship: Proactively inspect the facility footprint and log building defects, safety hazards, or maintenance items directly into the client's internal IT/facilities ticketing infrastructure.
  • Lobby & Event Logistics: Coordinate security operations, including executive-level arrivals, high-profile corporate event security, and delivery/logistics routing.
  • Operational Reporting: Create and maintain digital visitor records, comprehensive incident reports, daily activity logs, and required administrative security documentation.
  • Emergency & Trauma Response: Act as the primary on-scene coordinator during medical emergencies, evacuations, or fire/life safety incidents, delivering immediate, disciplined guidance, CPR/AED administration, and trauma-kit coordination until first responders arrive.
  • Perform other related operational duties as required.
