Provider Inquiries Analyst

This is a permanent onsite position

Job Purpose:

Under moderate supervision, this position is responsible for responding to provider or client inquiries via phone, fax or email. Medata’s proprietary workers compensation and auto liability claims cost-containment software will be utilized to look up these inquiries and all “touches” will be logged in Customer Service tracking/logging software.

Duties:

• Answer phone calls and respond to provider’s inquiries as appropriate
• Handle provider email and FAX inquiries as assigned and as appropriate
• Log all provider interaction “touches” fully, accurately and professionally
• Handle all contact with all providers in a professional and courteous manner
• Adhere to Productivity Standards as documented
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required as an essential function of this role
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Call Center and/or Customer Service department, 1-3 years
• Ability to work in a high call volume environment while meeting Productivity Standards with high quality
• Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information: researching, locating, and providing appropriate information
• Researching billing history
• Proficiency with touch-typing at a minimum or 40 WPM
• Proficiency with 10-key pad at 9000+ kph or equivalent bill processing rate
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong Customer Service skills
