About the Opportunity

MJM Innovations is seeking a Provider Recruitment & Contracts Manager to build, manage, and strengthen our network of RideChoice and ADA Paratransit transportation providers.

This role is critical to ensuring transportation services are delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently throughout a 24/7 operation. You will recruit and onboard provider partners, negotiate and manage contracts, monitor provider performance, and work closely with operational leaders to continuously improve service delivery.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organized, analytical, and comfortable balancing provider recruitment, contract administration, operational oversight, and stakeholder management.

What You'll Do

Build and Grow the Provider Network

  • Recruit, evaluate, and onboard RideChoice and ADA Paratransit transportation providers

  • Develop relationships with transportation operators and vendor partners

  • Ensure adequate provider coverage to support service demand across all operating hours

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen provider capacity and improve service availability

Manage Provider Contracts

  • Negotiate contract terms with transportation providers and business partners

  • Ensure all contractual obligations, deadlines, and performance standards are met

  • Analyze contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies

  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation

Monitor Provider Performance

  • Track operational performance metrics and identify trends

  • Proactively address performance concerns and collaborate with providers to implement corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with service standards, ADA requirements, safety expectations, and operational procedures

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance service quality

Serve as a Trusted Partner

  • Act as the primary point of contact for provider inquiries, concerns, and operational issues

  • Build strong relationships with providers, clients, transit agencies, and internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and improve outcomes

  • Attend regular meetings with Valley Metro personnel and other key stakeholders

Drive Reporting & Strategic Insights

  • Prepare executive-level reporting on provider performance, program effectiveness, and operational metrics

  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for operational improvements

  • Support leadership decision-making through data-driven recommendations

  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts that support long-term program success

Qualifications

Required

  • Five (5) or more years of experience within transit, paratransit, mobility services, transportation operations, or related environments

  • At least two years of leadership, supervisory, or program management experience

  • Strong understanding of ADA paratransit requirements and demand-response transportation operations

  • Experience managing provider, vendor, contractor, or partner relationships

  • Strong contract administration and negotiation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools

Preferred

  • Experience with Trapeze scheduling and brokering software

  • Experience supporting transportation networks operating in public sector environments

  • Experience managing provider performance programs and service-level agreements

  • Knowledge of procurement, contract compliance, and transportation regulations

  • Experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations
