Join an international project for the DPD Group, where we are developing a strategic product that supports the day-to-day operations of logistics hubs across Europe. The system enables key logistics processes, including parcel scanning, weighing, labeling, and sorting.
The product is already live in multiple markets, with further European rollouts and new feature development planned. This is a large-scale initiative with a tangible impact on the standardization and optimization of logistics processes across the organization.
As a Proxy Product Owner, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders, end users, and the development team. You will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable requirements, maintaining a high-quality and well-prioritized backlog, and supporting the team in delivering valuable solutions.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on product development and its expansion into additional European markets, working closely with international stakeholders and cross-functional development teams.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify needs, and define expected outcomes.
Transform business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring that development teams fully understand business expectations.
Maintain a well-structured product backlog, define priorities in collaboration with business and technical teams, and facilitate backlog refinement sessions.
Collaborate with developers to define optimal solutions and validate delivered functionalities against agreed business and functional requirements.
Build a deep understanding of the product from business, functional, and technical perspectives, identify dependencies, risks, and gaps, and independently drive initiatives from analysis through implementation.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Proxy Product Owner or Business Analyst
Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog management, user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and prioritization.
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable deliverables for development teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with both business and technical stakeholders.
Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and accountability, combined with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and successfully drive initiatives to completion.
Good understanding of both business and technical aspects of product development, enabling quick onboarding to complex systems and effective collaboration with engineering teams.
