Centurion Health in Florida is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Suwannee Correctional Institution located in Live Oak, Florida, 15 miles southeast of Lake City, 65 miles northwest of Gainesville and 85 miles west of Jacksonville, Florida.

Live Oak, Florida offers a small-town North Florida lifestyle with relatively affordable housing and unusually good access to springs, rivers, and outdoor recreation. Live Oak sits near I-10, making it reasonably positioned for trips toward Jacksonville, Tallahassee and other North Florida destinations.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
