JOB PURPOSE:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the medical and behavioral health clinic staff as a medication prescriber and care provider to treat patients suffering from acute and/or chronic mental health issues. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations, history and physical, writing orders, providing consultations, short-term medication management, and prescribing treatments.
