Position Summary

The Psychiatric Provider delivers psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and treatment for patients receiving detoxification, residential, PHP, IOP, and/or outpatient services. You will collaborate with our Medical Director, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care.

Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 12:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and risk assessments.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications within scope of practice.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and psychiatric consultation as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a PMHNP, NP, or PA appropriate to the role.
• Active state license, CAQH profile, and DEA registration.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with behavioral health, addiction treatment, or psychiatric care preferred.
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and withdrawal management is a plus.
