The Psychiatrist, working weekends at the Detention Center, Philadelphia PA.diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role gathers and evaluates data from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Psychiatrists examine patients, order and interpret laboratory or diagnostic tests, and provide treatment using psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
