Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Inpatient to the Behavioral Health group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. NCB is a 213-bed community hospital providing quality care in a friendly setting. This facility provides a range of services, and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric and Specialty Ambulatory services. North Central Bronx has a reputation for its devotion to the needs of its patients and has created programs tailored to provide dedicated care to the community it serves. The Department of Psychiatry has 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team.

Opportunity Details:

  • Work with an experienced multidisciplinary clinical staff to provide hands-on direct clinical assessment, diagnosis, acute stabilization and management, crisis intervention and care, and appropriate disposition for a cohort of inpatients.
  • Responsibility for clinical and educational activities on a 23-bed acute adult inpatient unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Direct supervision of Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff and Medical Students.
  • Participate in all activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision, education & training.
  • Participate in our innovative integrative care activities.
