Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Inpatient Psychiatrist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. Opportunity Details:

  • Provide psychiatric management for adults, age 18 and up, in an acute inpatient setting.
  • Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other applicable regulations.
  • Work with consultants as indicated by patient needs.
  • Lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary inpatient team.
  • Supervise Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatry Residents, and Medical Students.
  • Manage complex cases.
  • Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns, and other trainees.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
