We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our clinical team as an independent contractor. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned psychiatrist who values meaningful patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and the ability to make a direct impact on the individuals and families we serve.

Your Role

As a Psychiatrist with Interdynamics, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric and CON evaluations.
• Evaluating patients and establishing appropriate diagnoses.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical, emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, and behavioral needs.
• Providing psychotherapy and medication management, as clinically appropriate.
• Monitoring treatment response, evaluating medication effectiveness and side effects, and making adjustments when indicated.
• Consulting and collaborating with patients, families, and members of the treatment team.
• Providing clinical guidance and contributing to coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
• Staying current with developments in psychiatry, behavioral health, and evidence-based treatment through continuing education and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a psychiatrist who brings substantial clinical experience, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

Required qualifications:

• Active Maryland medical license in good standing.
• 10+ years of experience practicing psychiatry.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary behavioral health professionals.
• Commitment to compassionate, ethical, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care.
• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
