POSITION SUMMARY

This is a part-time, on-site position with the potential to become full-time. The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric services to individuals across the lifespan, with services focused on either adults or children and adolescents, depending on clinical expertise and assigned caseload.

The position is responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management and reviews, psychiatric consultations, diagnostic assessments, and recommendations for ongoing medical and behavioral health care. The Psychiatrist serves as a senior clinical member of the comprehensive mental health team and works collaboratively with individuals, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary staff to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities include verifying and approving diagnoses, establishing and reviewing treatment goals and treatment plans, providing clinical consultation and recommendations for medical follow-up, and approving the completion and closing of cases in accordance with organizational policies and applicable standards.
