JOB DESCRIPTION

PSYCHOLOGIST

JOB SUMMARY:

Individual will make assessments and interpretations based on biopsychosocial evaluations, psychometric tests, semi-structured interviews, therapy sessions, and neuropsychological assessment. Reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs psychological assessments, testing and evaluation for adults, adolescents and children.
2. Provides diagnosis based on assessments, testing, and evaluation.
3. Develops and recommends treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis.
4. Provides referrals when necessary for additional care evaluation or treatment.
5. Collaborate with treatment team to provide best care.
6. Compete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
7. Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care.
8. Maintenance and completion of clinical documentation consistently.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

1. Operate within ethical and professional standards of care.
2. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to evaluate the medical and physical conditions of clients.
3. Perform psychological therapies, risk assessment, training and supervision.
4. Other related duties as assigned.
