Psychologist
Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled psychologist to join our mental health team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery and promote mental wellness.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluate client needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or other appropriate approaches.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Stay current with advances in psychological research and best practices through continuing education.
- Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and their families.
Requirements
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist.
- Proven experience conducting psychological assessments and providing therapy.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and mental health interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient confidentiality.
